He understands Penelope is the only one who can defeat that bitch so he doesn't try to act like a hero and get everyone killed in the end. Instead he encourages her and helps her get a grip while still giving her assurance that he'll handle it even if she fails. He probably knows he won't be able to handle it but he meant it when he said he would if u know what I mean. Anyways I love Kallisto I knew he was best boy from the start
