She's so fucking pretty oh my god in screenshotting her every time and her in the first chapter??? Girl was drawn like the most magnificent human alive lmaooo I love it I love her beauty omg the art style is so pretty and the men actually have different faces, not just different clothes??? The plot is plotting and the art is god-sent?
Only read up to chapter 4 and girl... That fucking hurts. No prep, no foreplay—and the FL made a flood? Bitch, that's not how it goes. That feels like r@pe, really. Always with the "foreigner x southern tanned barbarian", so sexualized at this point. It's only starting and anybody could tell the next chapters will be unbearable smut to read.
Where us your proof that tanned are being barbarians in countless other stories? The fact is, most barbarians in mangas are actually pale skinned/ whites being barbarians because most manga are from japan and mostly pale skinned live there. And they dont usually draw tanned skinned because the their fans/ the japanese dont like it. Just like in their videogames as well.
I'm pointing out how other stories with a tanned ML, they're often portrayed as southern barbarians who only knows how to have fun, who likes colors, who likes 'vulgarities'. Whereas, the white people of the north, the capital—are the 'knowledgeable' ones of the empire, classy, elegant, demure. What part you somehow missed out on that I typed tanned ML are sexualized by being stereotyped as barbarians—but the female lead would always be a white blonde woman? If that's not sexualizing to you, I don't know what is. I'm pointing out how these kind of colorist pairings are starting to come off as 'sexualized'.
Ofcourse its sexualizing thats not even the issue. Why are you mentionig his skin colour when white guys have been doing the exact same thing way more than coloured, yet you only seem to have an issue because he’s brown? Men have allways sexualized white blonde girls. Its not just coloured male lead that are doing this just so you know it has been happening with white pairings way more often than this. Go back to the front page again and you’ll mostly see white pairings. You saw the cover of the manga, and the title you knew what you were reading into but you just came to complain about his skin colour. Wow you’re not even hiding your racism. I didnt miss out on or misunderstand, annything this is exactly what you meant. Dont try to fucking gaslight me.
Huh. I'm trying to point how they're really stereotyping him as a barbarian because he's brown and that scene of the first night? Yeah, that's painting him exactly what they think of people of color. Oh, sorry, was it better that I pointed out how unrealistic the first night was before pointing out that they're sexualizing white women x tanned men? So that it doesn't look like I'm tying him being a POC to being a rapist? And damn, sorry, I thought it'll get better but yeah, no hope, the plot would be predictable anyways so why bother lingering around? And no, I don't read about white MLs being sexually abusive—I read the comments and when I find out from others what they are, I no longer read. Don't you fucking worry, I'm not gaslighting you, I'm confused as you are. I'm trying to make my point across but it completely went over your head. Have a happy new year. I'm not even gonna read this book anyways because it seemed to be 'historically' tied, as in real-life connected since they mentioned Afghanistan.

What. Seriously, I read it but my reaction was "What? Why?" It feels... Dreadful? This story, the vibes are dreadful. But what if they died together on her 20th birthday? Not just her, but both of them? What if, knowing she goes back to life, decided to start a new life with someone else? Is this soul-tie of some sort that causes them suffering? I have lots of questions. Really lots of questions because the story was complex, especially with only 7 chapters.
