Ik a lot of people don’t really care for how the story is going rn but I feel like with daehyung understanding doyeon from his perspective might help him navigate his relationship w/ yiyoung maybe bc doyeon is a gay man and daehyung is in his first relationship w/ a man but idk! Just a theory ig lol I def think s2 will show more of daehyung and yiyoung’s relationship grow more and therefore their own characters grow as well

Probably the college friends after all. I mean they knew Doyeon was gay as we’ve learned. So they’d of likely gossiped among themselves when Kang revealed “hey I’m dating a twink now” when he popped over to America.
Kang and Doyeon’s friends are American. They all knew each other since college and in Doyeon’s case high school. They also seen like a pretty open and accepting group of people. Doyeon also is not in the closet and knowing how close both Doyeon and Kang are I don’t think their friend would have felt the need to keep Kang’s new relationship a secret.
