Albert is such a gentleman. He asks for consent. Thinks about what the other person feel before doing something. Not all manhwa guys are portrayed like this. Anyway the story is beautiful but the ending is just a bit fast for me. But atleast it's a happy ending. Their wedding photo is just everything.

He will not become a human in the manga, but in my mind he renews the contract and drinks just enough of her blood as she is dying to die with her. She broke the contract because she didn't want them to be tied by something as flimsy as a contract and she didn't want him to die. They loved each other as they were and he no longer wanted to become human to die, he wanted to stay with her. It's an incredibly romantic ending
Everyone is happy + everyone has love interest + everyone remembered her + she gets to stay with them = perfection. We rarely get to see ending like this :< this manhwa right here is a rare gem!!!
I love how emperor Leon is like "idc if she ends up with me in this life time what matters is that I want to help her. I want her to do the things she wants to do." He believes lizzie deserves better than himself.
