Started off strong but then started going downhill. Felt like the author had no plot plan and just made random stuff up. Backstory/info kept getting reframed/‘plot-twisted’ to the point it became annoying. Ultimately quit at ch 38 - reason: Years of real parental abuse was swept under the rug, framed as a mere misunderstanding that got solved in a few chapters. Unrealistic and downright problematic resolution for a real word problem.
