There isn’t an redemption arc. She only tries to protect Yeongwon from now on. They end up killing the mean aunt, and Seungji takes the fall for both of them and ends up in jail for a few months. Then they get their happy ending.
Well suengji taking the fall is close enough to her redeeming herself after throwing yeongwon under the bus. Sad they end up in jail and not in busan but wtv. Would’ve been nice if you disclosed this as a spoiler though :((
