his back story gave a reason to his actions but not the justification for them. fair enough, he did have a bad childhood and he did bad things too but ig it came frm somewhere
is it just me or i think cliff’s ending (?) is quite bittersweet? he genuinely only knows how to live with the author and hence went out of his way and world to find her in her own despite knowing she’s evil and all. like a black flag couple but they suit each other really well? doing anything n everything to fllw someone u love is quite admirable and adorable except that they are both villains
to those who said eiser shldve opened his mouth or tried to stop her, acting as if the moment he did try to open his mouth, serena’s resolve would’ve broken immediately and she would regret her decision and run back to him. like i get it, eiser shldve maybe done more but like yall are jst trying to input and build your own story now like ?? let serena grow and go. she’s finally coming to terms with the divorce and growing as a character. we don’t get serena as much as eiser does. we’re just readers. and plus, its left on a cliffhanger, maybe he does show more reaction later but as for me, id prefer if he agrees with her as he respects her decision to grow and develop. but in the end, no offence intended ^^
