I remember quite a while ago reading a tragedy manga, and I remember reading it here, but have forgotten the title. However, despite not remembering the title, I remember a lot of the details.
I'm pretty sure the manga starts with a buisness/salary man who is in a meeting and finds out his wife is sick and in the hospital and decides to continue the meeting. Later he discovers his wife had died at the hospital. He is a bit of a cynical character and ends up brushing off her death.
One day on the train he sees a high school girl. I think I remember her with short hair and a cat bag? But I may be wrong. He finds the girl to be interesting in a way he doesn't understand. He asks others about her, and gets off the train one time to see her, yet she disappears. One day he follows her and ends up back at his old high school and discovers she was just a hallucination of his dead wife.
The story resumes as flashbacks as they go through their high school relationship and get married. After the main character gets the job he currently works at they slowly move apart, and his lover is forced to abandon her innocent youthful charm and start dressing more mature. I also remember they started sleeping in separate beds. Eventually his wife gets sick, but he's so caught up in work to even care, and she dies.
