since i noticed it was finished i decided to read it from where i left it and?? wtf?? that's such a rushed and shitty ending like wtf, never explained why the killer looked different from isaac, giselle killing him with no emotions like wtf ma'am that's the man you were supposed to live a lifetime together, such a shame, the story started well being original and all just to fuck it up at the end

I finished reading this like a year ago and everything was okay, I enjoyed the story but I personally didn't like the ending since I think Sangwoo's death was kinda dumb(?) I expected something worst, but anyway I decided to reread it since while talking to my friends all of us had forgotten crucial parts of the story which we think may have been too much and as a consequence our brain just removed them. For example we actually didn't remember that Bum was the one who entered Sangwoo's house, we didn't remember his uncle's death since all of us thought that he was still alive, another example is the fact that Sangwoo mother's corpse is inside the wall we all remembered that she was killed on the mountains, which after rereading it I think that we got confused with that mom that dies on the mountains who resembles Eunseo. I would really like to know if someone else actually forgot these important parts of the story.
I read this back in middle school, and Im going to be a senior in high school this year. I definitely forgot very crucial parts of this story, but I never forgot that Yoon Bum basically stalked Sangwoo and entered his house. I always blamed Yoon Bum for that, and I still do, but I definitely believe that he deserved happiness in the end. I also agree that Sangwoo's death was a little dumb lol. But if you remember, Sangwoo's mom attempted to suffocate him with a pillow when he was a baby, so the fact that a random grandma did it (probably representing how she is someones mom), resonates in the idea that Sangwoo ended up dying a painful death, like his mom said he would. He didn't die because of his burns. He died because of suffocation. Had it not had been the granny, he wouldn't actually survived and probably spent life in prison. This story rushed to his death so quickly and I didn't like that, but I appreciated the backstory given to every character.
actually no that you've pointed it out, I understand the link of his death that may recall how he should've died by his mother's hands. About Bum I remembered that he was a stalker but I legit thought that Sangwoo kidnapped him (even tho it's impossible now that I think about that), but I agree with you I also felt like his death was kinda rushed, even though it's okay since as you said we got very detailed backstory of each character which let us understand why their personality is like that.
Of course lol I definitely resented Bum for basically getting himself into this situation but when I gave it more thought I realized it was ultimately Sangwoo that ruined everything. whats sadder is that Sangwoo only kept Bum because he liked the power he had over someone that resembled his mom. in the end all he wanted was power over his mom, his abuser. in the end all he did was call out for bum, the one person he thought he had left.
yes it's really sad, one of my friends kept insisting that Sangwoo actually loved Bum even in his toxic way, but I think that as you said the only reason he kept him by his side was to see someone who resembled his mom, suffer, since that was the pain that he would've liked to inflict to his mom. It is actually really sad that Bum has been involved in such a fake relationship in which at least at first he was the only one who had feelings for Sangwoo and till the end he couldn't imagine a life without him ┗( T﹏T )┛
In a way, I wanted Sangwoo to truly love Yoonbum because I wanted Yoonbum to finally be happy but in all honesty, Sangwoo never loved yoonbum lol he just wanted his mom back. he wanted genuine love from his mom because even as a kid, he never got it. I KNOW omg at the end even when yoon bum was running towards sangwoo i felt so hurt because you know all he wanted was a happy life, even if it had to be with sangwoo. it was like even after everything, all he wanted was the love sang woo gave him, because it was the only love he had experienced. (〜￣△￣)〜
it's such a sad story I kinda want to see how they're going to portray their feelings and behaviors in the animation.
