It feels weird that the ml is the brother. Not because they grew up together and stuff like that. I’ve read many stories where the FL is the adopted sister and that’s all good. But I just felt too much sibling bond between them before so it feels weird I guess. Anyone else get what I’m saying?
nonono forsure, i know what you mean. I see other people shipping them and i’m not trying to be rude or anything but I just really hope eugene and the fl dont end up together- just cause it’s so weird. plus I think of them as hardcore siblings- if that even makes sense. even if the fl is adopted, I feel like the sibling bond they used to have is still there and I love that more than the idea of them being together. But oh well- I’m gonna stick till the end just cause i’m a bit curious on how it’ll really end.

Exactlyyyyy. Their bond gives off the siblings vibe so much.
She actually doesn't really have that much of a sibling bond with Eugene. He never actually calls her his sister unless he's trying to distance himself or talking to outsiders. He always called her family. However he also spent the least amount of time with her after the parents died. Funny how no one complains about the youngest brother being in love with her when they actually DID grow up together after the parents died.

Now that I read this I’m realising they didn’t spend much time together. I’m not tryna criticise the ml and fl relationship(just to be clear). I just felt like they had more of a nice sibling energy to their relationship well now the energy has changed but yeah. Just felt a lil bit weird cause of that. No hate. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Didn't think that you were hating, just thought it interesting that most people complain about Hari and Eugene getting together but don't say anything about Erik being in love with her, when he's more like a brother to her than Eugene is. Plus, like I said, the only times Eugene calls Hari his sister is when in public or when trying to distance himself from her, because he promised his parents that he would care for her like she was his sister. Otherwise he just says she's family, or calls her by name.
