Can someone explain what is going on with the carrot gem? I read that a lil too fast and now I don’t even know what is going on, he lost the gem to a lil girl.. but how come there are so many fake gems? How come he is now not panicking about it?
Okay so I think that he thinks the gem is a fake and it was planted so he's calm because he's waiting to see if he can figure out what's really going on. The little girl is a ghost and when she was alive she collected gems so her father (the professor) made an art piece dedicated to her so they think the gem (that he now thinks is fake) is mixed in with the art piece gems. *I might be wrong but this is what I got from it on first read
I think the girl is alive, the professor invented that lie bc he magically know that gem is important or he thinks is real(?)
Then if she was alive why was the professor crying in one chapter saying he missed her and she was standing right beside him watching him cry?
I don’t like this story, everyone fell in love with the same guy? And the blonde guy fell in love with every girl everytime? It isn’t realistic, not everyone fall in love with ppl just cus they spend a lil time with one another.not everyone have the same type.tho I understand he tried to manipulate them with Hallucinations and sex but even so, ppl don’t fall in love like that. Especially EVERYONE
the women she invited to the mansion were desperate people. the first one wanted a partner that could provide for her and settle down, the second one was abuse so she wanted to die and vulnerable for a little kindness others give. the third one, Philip's sister, was to be save. then Rachel, she's really desperate too.
