MC’s “friend” is a piece of shit. I get why he would want to preserve his own safety over everything else, but the fact that they’ve been friends for years and he didn’t even bat an eye towards MC and his continuously growing dangerous situation, nor did he even feel the tiniest bit of guilt about it or even just try to warn him in secret. I just don’t understand that at all.
