I read this before when it first released and I’m shocked that I remember every little detail and scene but that’s how memorable the artwork and story is.
Number one thing I’d like to say is how much my heart hurts for Inés. I started sobbing when I read her part of the story because.. my God?? women are always forced to suffer and undergo vehement misogny inflicted on them from youth. I don’t know how she didn’t bash her brother’s skull in when she reincarnated a third time after he murdered Emiliano. I fear I would have gone feral. She legitimately had no choice but to kill her child, the only marking available of her lover, just so the baby wouldnt suffer in the future. Like why man.. that is so miserable and I’m tearing up thinking about it. My heart hurts thinking about Inés and Emiliano because that was her first exposure to love and tbh if I was her, I would have made a thorough plan to be with him in the third life, possibly fleeing the country and everything along with gathering hella resources but ofc that’s not the ml, Carcel is.
Carcel is great don’t get me wrong but I keep putting myself in Inés’s shoes where my heart genuinely hurts when I think about her first love.
ALSO I legitimately had no idea this was a smut so I was fully prepared to see the honeymoon panels to turn blank and show the next morning, skipping the details.
