Fr lol, I understand your point. It was just a short panel at the end, a cliffhanger. Clearly a thing to give off open ended imaginations, for further expectations and surprising the readers. I do pretty much think the duchess, is on the brighter side, based on short scenes of her from past chaps.
It’s weird because, probably most readers has read hundreds of stories here but are quick to judge a character who’s obviously being portrayed the opposite of her character

From what i saw they had eyes similiar to the emperor and wrinkles around their mouth. But the guy she met at the slave auction definitely was the third prince. So im also confused if the king is the emperor or the thirf prince. By logic it wpuld be the ml yes
