I myself grew up having very few crushes and i always thought "i'll find someone when i'm older." Now that i'm older it is so refreshing and freeing to read a story with the mc having the same toughts as me.
In my early 20s i struggled to find a partner. "Who knows how long this'll last? What if they grow tired of me? What if they found someone else? How do i know they really love me and it's not just a momentary thing?"
I also always struggled with being intimate with my partners and i never felt ready. I thought that i was the reason my realationships never worked.
Now, in my 30s, i can finaly, confidently say i'm ace. I don't know if i will ever find a partner but i'm not concerned about that anymore as much as i was in my teens and 20s.
I feel heard and seen so much in this story through the mcs anxiety and thouhts. Definetaly by far one of my absolute favourite stories on here. I'm excited to see whats more to come <3
