at first i thought this was going to be cute, but chapter 6 was just awful, and im glad im not the only one who felt that way. that one chapter completely set me off from the rest of this short “story”, if i can even call it that. Besides chapter 6, i felt like this was just boring, it felt more like porn than story, and i wish that was more obvious before getting into the story, because i definitely expected more, and now im left disappointed, disturbed, and disgusted…so there’s that! like i genuinely cannot see why this has such high ranking on here
I get that novel readers say it improves, but I really can’t stand Season 2. I stuck around for the original art style, which at least showed Jaekyung’s anger and resentment, but now it looks like he’s enjoying the rape—which is deeply uncomfortable. The plot isn’t strong enough to make up for it, and the “revenge” setup falling apart instantly was just frustrating. Overall, it feels like it’s glorifying rape for fetishization, and I don’t understand how this manhwa is rated so highly.
I agree, I'm so disappointed because I expected an actual revenge and this is what we get instead... I feel like the original plot has just been put to the side atp. I'll still continue reading bc I love the MC, but other than that this chapter has been really hard to read and imo it is very useless too. Just a waste of an actual good chapter to make rape instead.
