I don’t know why people are thumbings it up down lol. But basically, in a plot when a character is mentioned A LOT in the beginning and how much they had a hand in providing solace to the main character, it’s a massive indication that this might change in the future. Especially, since we know there’s a time skip. Given that the authors previous works have a lot of depth as well, I feel like something will shift (like her dad passing) that will incite a character change. Obvi I am just hypothesizing
