This is giving Passion rn and I just don’t understand.. why? Like in Passion Ilay was a black flag from the jump so you can’t really be surprised how that’s going.. but Aaron?? I expected him to get possessive to the point of literal obsession but not like this.. this genuinely feels out of the blue, like I reread the whole series last night and I still don’t see this as how the story was gonna go..
Why do these authors continuously choose the ruin perfectly good stories with shit like this? There are ways to create toxic story plots without SA and rape. It’s just so unnecessary and far too normalized for these stories. R.I.P Flashlight you had a good run.

The way the writing really portrays Cheongrok’s emotions is so pure. It’s written in a way that even if you’ve never felt the way he has, you can feel the emotions so deeply it’s beautiful. I hope Cheongrok can overcome his fears and I can’t wait to see how Jaegyu will respond and support him.
