Im on chapter 70 and who the fuck scammed me and said this is peak? This is probably the shittiest misunderstanding trope i've ever read. Once or twice is fine but you have shit for brains yoonwon skipping over his 2 brain cells to misinterpret every fucking thing and believing all the bullshit that comes out of everyone's mouth EXCEPT FOR the man he apparently loves, and who has bent himself backwards to prove it to him. my third re-read and its no less devastating to the soul. even going into the story knowing that yeonsung KNOWS hakyung is a guy just adds an extra layer of devastation to chapter 56, when he goes through an internal struggle about liking a boy, accepts and embraces the fact, and finally ending the chapter with ASKING HAKYUNG TO GO TO THE STATES WITH HIM SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MEMORIES THERE. MARRIAGE. HE WAS ASKING HAKYUNG TO MARRY HIM!!! It only clicked to me this time around and i scream cried even more.

Hakyung, who's finally being given the comfort he's been looking for. Grandpa and Yeonsung, similar in every way, including the way they love, and give grace to the people who do them wrong. Eunjo, for being the sister that stepped up.
