she's giving yandere and not in a good girl boss way but more of a pathetic one. Honestly if she wasn't so in love with him and had a few decent brain cells she could've been so much more epic. Instead she wouldn't mind being called a witch just so she can kill some girl that touched him.
If this is not ur cup of tea better not read this from here because this is only going to get worse and worse. Have you ever read a manhwa where the villainess always dies because of unrequited love and they only change when a female lead from another world possess their body.
Unlike those novels, this is fully about the villianess Thalia, she is our female lead but a villianess in the twins story. If u do not appreciate her character for living Varkas you should stop here cause the angst will only get worse.
Everyone wants a villianess story and when they actually have one, people like you can't stand it lol.
If u like fluffy and brainy female leads stick with those, this one is not ur cup of tea. I saw u ranting twice and I really love this story because unlike every other ones, this one is different. You'll understand why if u have the brains for it.
love her character but absolutely despise her blindness in only seeing him like yeah his fine but he isn't all that, she'd go so far for him who wouldn't even give a shit for her
I also think her obsession of wanting love from him her mom and the emperor is her breaking point-the reason why her life is so miserable. But shes just a little girl who found hope in him and she needs it back. Cant blame her for that because when you look at other manhwas theres atleast one person who stays with the fl and actually cares for them, doesnt matter whether they die or not. They atleast teach the child love and kindness. No one has taught her that. Either they cant confront her, dont want to confront her or are just fucked up like her mother. We cant blame her for this.
As bizarre as it sounds Barkas is one of the only people in her life that isn't actively trying to hurt Thalia just because she's the witch's daughter. He's portrayed as an emotionless person because of what he's been through but she just gets under his skin like no one else can so he lashes out sometimes. She keeps clinging onto him but she's had her guard up for so long and has never learned how to regulate her emotions so she just goes for the extremes in her thoughts and actions. Once THAT thing finally happens Barkas will show a new side to him but I'm not gonna spoil anything. I can explain in further detail in another comment if you want to.

Thalia becomes disabled during the trip. Barkas' engagement to the first princess is broken and he's pushed to marry Thalia since it was his responsibility to keep her and the twins safe. She's "broken goods" now so she'll have problems getting married. And so they get married, leave for his estate very quickly. Their relationship is full of ups and downs. And even though she gets on his nerves you can see she's gotten under his skin. He covers up her mistakes too. They both go through A LOT. in this novel, the author really has noooo mercy. I wish they would figure out their feelings to each other sooner but with how the novel is going I don't know how soon it'll be possible(/TДT)/
didn't expect to be in so much pain when I picked this story up. But it's so worth it, I'm glad Jeongwoon was able to be persuaded by Dakyung. The story is pure cinema, art, plot, everything, had me laughing, squealing and crying. It was traumatic and depressing, but sooo gooddd. Can't wait for the next season and the more suffering it will bring.
this was only supposed to be a casual read but turned out to be one of the best plots + romance stories I've ever read. The story is slow but every part is written to perfection that it's worth the wait. I hope this gets finished because I need answers now, and I need to see them be happy. Like her dad is definitely a bad guy, so secretive, mysterious, telling her not to disclose these things, rich enough to buy a house in Morocco next to Rena Dan who was rich as hell.
Off topic but her dad is unnecessarily fine!! ><

I respect yoojuns character development, but I always wanted jihyuk to choose eunsong but come on we all know jihyuk will always love yoojun. But it helps a lot that they aren't so selfish towards the end, atleast their happy together. Is it weird that I wanted to see Yoojun and Eunsong's relationship go further too... but nah, it's more like yoojun and eunsong are in the with jihyuk, instead of the three of them together lol
