I think I get it. She is his sisters daughter. He hates he4 because she’s the daughter of the man who forcefully married his sister. But he also loves her because she is his sister’s daughter’s who even resembles her mother. A sister he obviously loves. And we don’t even know her fate.

As much as I loved this in the beginning…I am getting seriously tired of it now. We’re on to season 3 now and they haven’t exactly done anything to bring the empress down. Instead they waste time with romance and petty jealousy that has more than once resulted in their disadvantage.
The way things look right now the empress will probably bring about her own doom by overusing her power. And these two will still be somewhere romancing without even realising the queen is dead. They aren’t exactly invested in her downfall they just talk about it.
Just verify there is no one else listening in on your proposal so Maddie doesn’t think you are acting again…
I know Ian was groomed and all but atp this story is starting to frustrate me.
We have already had over 120 chapters yet the progress in Ian’s mentality can only be described as marginal. It’s not like Lorkan isn’t suspicious. Ian himself is literally investigating everything and has come across ample things that don’t add up. Yet he didn’t hesitate once when Lorkan wanted to go along with him because “he will know the truth” when Lorkan himself has shown he is manipulating the truth. He feels the doubt. That’s he told Sol about testifying. Yet he still can’t break free after all the time we have invested in this story.
I don’t which is more disturbing…
The flirting that is crossing into harassment
The fact that she totally oblivious to this breach of boundaries despite having 2 lifetimes of experience
Or the fact she she is unknowingly leading the guys on as well
Glad we have focusing on the sister again. I have to stay Aria’s multilayered personality is truly a breath of fresh air.
I wouldn’t say 2 lifetime... She doesn’t remember her first life fully and her memory is distorted.
And I would beg to defer, she never lead those guys, she was very clear about them being her friends. She always mentions how they are her friends forever. If even then those guys don't get it, that is their issues, they can get hurt or whatever. She is not obligated to return their feelings, and I hope she doesn’t. She is too good for them.
