(My opinion also some spoilers so be warned)
- some of u guys were saying "why go on a date w hakamada when ur dating naruse" or "naruse should be upfront and just communicate" or "why did she say she'd love him forever". I'm here to explain it (based off the future chapters and also based off my opinion). First of all, the reason yuki went on a "date" w hakamada is bcs she felt like she was in dept after what he did to her (took her home and made sure she was safe) but hakamada insisted to go on a date instead. Before u guys come after yuki, know that she only did it bcs she felt like she was in dept not bcs she have feelings for him whatsoever. Same goes w the part where she said "shed love him forever". The original translations was "i will for sure love you forever, as a friend, hakamada" which implies and foreshadows that she wont be able to love anyone else as much as she loved naruse. Now, for naruse, he will be the one to talk to her in the next chapters. Ofc, before he did that yuki had to messege him but before that he was already planning on reconciling w her. Anyways so why did he not communicate? well, simple. The ex. In my opinion, i feel like he wanted to fix everything abt the ex before he fixes everything w yuki. I know its a vry wrong move but if u think abt it, its better to tell ur ex whos still into u that ur not interested in them right? He probably planned to reconcile and talk to yuki abt his feelings after he reject the ex completely. I'm not saying that its the rigt choice but as long as he rejects her and communicates w yuki, i think itll be fine.
- Now to hakamada, ive said it once before and ill say it again. HES OBSESSED. I repeat. OBSESSED. I wouldnt call it love bcs of how much he had forced himself to yuki (i meant kiss and all that stuff) even knowing that shes dating someone he still chose to not put any boundaries between him and yuki. Yuki is also at fault here for being too unguarded and just lets ppl do whatever they want to do to her but knowing that, hakamada took it as an advantage and still tried kissing her. Its mostly his fault. But dont worry he'll give up soon.
- Naruse slanders. Yes, you guys. Before u guys completely hate on him let me tell u something. Why did naruse date yuki? ofc bcs he loves her, wants to protect her, wants to be by her side and so on. But why did hakamada liked her? bcs he realized that shes the only girl he can be comfortable around with. Idk if u remember but hakamada have always been scared around girls (idk the reason) so knowing that yuki is around him and hes not scared he thought its love when it's obsession. He doesnt give two fucks abt what she felt (not until this chapter tho) and he thinks that shes the only one he can be around with. And why did usami became friends w yuki? Because she wanted to get closer to suwa. Which she did and their friendship grew from that as well. Now why did suwa liked yuki? bcs yuki was the only one who can see the real him and he thought that he can take advantage of it and finally be able to tell someone abt his trauma and finally someone who knows him. What i meant is that they never rlly considered what she really is. They all wanted something from her for their own benefits but have they ever considered what she felt? no. But naruse on the other hand, knew abt it. He always been careful and tryinf hard to be mature for her. He's the only one who doesnt have any benefits nor wants from her. Nothing but love. Thats what he have to yuki. So before u guys hate on naruse know that naruse is the only one who was always there figuring out and understanding yuki the most out of all the ppl in this story. Even the father of yuki knew that naruse can brinf out a lot of emotions of yuki that she never showed bcs naruse is slowly making his way to finally make yuki the real her once again after all the troubles and emotions she kept in after her grandma died. So you guys shouldnt hate naruse over a small matter that we all know would be resolved once they tell each other what they feel (which they will in the next chapters)

i agree as well, what he said to her was vry unnecessary and vry stupid but i think he said it out of jealously which is still, ofc, not an excuse for his actions. We cant rlly just blame everything to naruse tho bcs yuki is also at fault here. Not just them but everyone including hakamada and usami. To keep it short hakamada knew yuki meant to call naruse since the first thing she said was "naruse" but instead of calling him he went instead, if he called for him everything wouldve been solved right away bcs yuki opened up to hakamada who she thought was naruse at that time. For usami, i feel like she shouldve not told hakamada abt what happen knowing what type of person hakamada is and she shouldve been upfront to naruse and asked him herself. Yuki on the other hand shouldve not pushed naruse away when they had the arguement and talked to him (and also shouldve had her guard up towards hakamada after the stuff hes done to her) but i cant rlly blame her since it was naruse fault for saying stupid shit and she probably just said it due to her anger, same as the reason naruse said stupid stuff to yuki bcs of his jealousy. But yeah, naruse is the only one who rlly wanted to see the real her. I forgot to add but one of the reasons he dated her was to see more of the emotions and expressions of her especially after seeing her cry over the captain. In short, he rlly wanted to see the real her and not what she wants other ppl to see her as.
and for hakamada, yes. I agree to that as well since u cant just get rid of ur feelings for someone that fast so ofc hakamada will still be clingy but in the future chapter he accepted it (and hopefully he actually gives up) he knew she loved naruse more than anyone so he accepted it. I have a theory that him and naruse's ex will be the endgame knowing that the ex and yuki are somewhat the same, i feel like hakamada would instantly get interested to her. Just my opinion tho.

communication this and that. Yes, ik communication is the solution but u guys should know that she NEVER once told anyone abt her feelings. Isnt that literally why she wanted to divorce him. She never told him anything abt her feelings bcs SHES NOT USED TO IT. She doesnt think its necessary because she grew up that way. You cant just be like "You guys need to communicate" when they literally cant bcs thats how they grew up, not expressing what they feel. For the guy as well, the mom already once said that hes not the type of person to communicate abt his feelings so she was thankful for her trying to understand him (she told her this when he died). The whole point of this manhwa is slowly opening up to each other. Not everything will be so fast pased that theyll open up to each other right away just bcs one of them did something. Shes still traumatized from what happened in the past that shes TRYING to become better and he knew abt her story so hes TRYING to do anything to not hurt her. Once they actually slowly have that progress then they will communicate. ITS JUST BEEN A FEW CHAPTERS OF THE MANHWA.
