I'll read it in Webtoons. But it's good to update it here because when it updates in Mangago, I go and read it in Webtoons. I do the same for other Webtoons. If it helps the author and it's free, I'll do what I can!
I'm surprised by everyone's reaction. This was clearly going to happen. POTN is doing really well and selling a lot. They're going to stretch out the story as much s possible. That's where the money is. Hopefully not too much because readers are getting upset.
I get the money part but there’s so much material to work from. Seungho back story (how he got to be the way he is), his relationship with his father/ brother, the part about his father being sick, etc. And in Nakyum case, how he started painting, what was he doing until the moment seungho found him, and there’s still unresolved story line with his mentor (the glasses guy), etc. This’s just from the main characters story line not even including the side story (they still have to develop jihwa and the no name man story line). They have so much material to work from that will not bore the readers so I don’t get this slow chapters that gets no where.
You're absolutely right. I think they've made a mistake, but they're repeating because that's what they did in the past and sold.

I signed up to Tapas for this manga. Does anyone know the percentage that the author gets from this website?
It's a premium series. They usually split 50-50 but I'm not sure if it's less in this case because it has to be translated as well or if translations are already included in the deal.
Minimum 50%? That's ridiculous. Taking complete advantage of the artist. Wish I could pay directly to the artist. That'd be better.
Yeah, it sucks but it's still the best way for the vast majority of creators to earn money. At least the author of a premium series gets an editor and Tapas then basically becomes their publisher. For everyone else, Tapas is just a site on which they can upload their comics. They can make money with adds and tipping but Tapas still keeps 30% of the add-revenue (again, they do nothing other than providing a platform and still keep 30% of it). The tips go directly to the author but even the most popular series aren't tipped well. Most people tip significantly less than $1 ( the amount of people who only tip 25-50 ink, which is about 3-6 cents is quite shocking) and there aren't enough supporters.
So yes, it sucks that Tapas keeps 50% but out of all the shitty options there are, going premium seems to be the least worst.

When a series isn't a premium series there should be a support button next to the author's name when you klick on "more" in the summary. Could be different for the mobile version or app though.
