On the main story every panel were so beautiful and the drawing of the bodies , it's was like you can feel their embrace but now it's just okay . Ans Ash seems more manipulative with Lyle , I don't know
The art changed because it's been a while since the main story ended and the artist is with other projects now. You can check the first and last chapters of any webtoon and you can appreciate the differences in the style.

i think he meant he’s afraid of becoming closer to him again bc he’s afraid that he’ll lose him in a way similar to how they broke up (when he found out that the only reason why they got close was because dohu’s was using him at first) but i might be mistaken so take that with a grain of salt
