Why is the alternative universe being released here? It feels awful and it kinda ruins the cute ending of the special.

Well, first... I actually bought most chapters on lezhin. I just came here when I saw the update because the news I got was that All Grownup would only have seven chapters, so I wasn't reading it illegally. Also, as the author said so herself, she doesn't support Chinwoo and Ji-something, but she DID get a lot of pressure of their shippers.
Also, if she wanted to create an alternative universe... Well, it's her story. She can do whatever she wants. I just wished, as I pointed out in the beginning of my comment, that she didn't do it in *this* special, because it's super weird reading Chinwoo doing it with Jihyun JUST AFTER we saw him and Kyujin heading towards their happily ever after.

I've read the raws and the author posted the afterword for season one this week, confirming the story is going to be in a long hiatus (after chapter 25, that is, which was released last week) while they work on season 2. They said it's going to be more straightforward now that everything is in place and it's going to lead the story to an explosive climax (⊙…⊙).
The author also hinted that Gyeol's hyung and Ha Taegeon might really be a side couple. So I guess there's that to look forward to if that was something you wanted...
Anyways, chapter 25 ends with whiplash, jumping straight from the most touching scene we've had to a gut punch. So if you're not enjoying the story so far, you might want to consider letting it marinate until season 2 starts.
it's like bodyguard from Swapping will finally get his own romance story so his days of cringing from main couple (main couples?) would finally end, yay xDD
I've never read Swapping actually. The premise seems just too strange for me (I say, in the comments of a BL about an underground fighting sex cult, lol).
I'm not really sure if I think Taegeon is good enough for Hyung, given he's pretty much Mr. Kim right hand and biggest enabler... But this author is very skilled at writing nuanced characters, so I guess we'll see ╮(￣▽￣)╭
