Why do I think the Bio dad actually left them and took tons of money giving by the greedy old man? Making it as if He's dead but he actually not???

I mean-- does fl mom actually see her husband dead body? Or is it just her imagination (since her father told her husband is dead) ┗( T﹏T )┛
I'm pretty sure they killed her husband otherwise the plot wouldn't match cuz if he was still alive they would make it into searching her father if she didn't see her corpse or if so they wouldn't show an image of the husband dead and the mother pratically begging or arguing with her father to let her unborn baby ( FL ) to be alive ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I do enjoy this manhwa since fl is cute and smart.
But I really hate the "father is cold toward his sons but gentle with daughter" concept
I also dislike that trope but I do like that she's trying to improve father and son's relationship with each other (the strawberry scene) instead of the author writing a mary sue that completely fails to acknowledge the situation. Because of that, I feel like the author included the trope as a bit of subversion to the usual holy mary mc trope, to hopefully tackle exactly how toxic and weird it is. I also think that the author is trying to address the theme of breaking the cycle of abuse (grandfather was the abuser in both father and son's lives), so I hope that goes somewhere good.
