Just think of it as "in reality, there are people like that" kind of thing. There are people like hooni who get abused, who get into all sorts of trouble or get "sexualized" despite their age. If the audience are affected thinking the author intended for thhis to be child p0rn, that's the audience's problem not the author's.

Eh no one really thinks he would be a rapist because of that, just a creep for making porn out of rape. Rape is something very serious and sexualizing it doesn’t do anything except normalize it more. It’s honestly just shit writing if they think they need to include rape to make it have more impact/be more “hot.” I know this type of content is and always will be made and fetishized and that hundreds of thousands of people will continue to consume it, but you at least shouldn’t try to justify those who dislike it as irrational. Also about the shotacon, there literally is porn of Hooni drawn as well as sexual art of the 13 year old, and based on general character design and art style, you can tell that it is meant to be pandering towards shotacons and their twitter proves that. Ever think about the fact that it IS so normal to see in yaoi and how maybe that’s something to be concerned about? I don’t give a shit about whether you like it or not, but you should recognize the issues with it at the very least and not defend it in a way that is so clearly wrong, it just shows your denialism. It’s fucking depressing how many mangakas have been exposed for having legit child porn/sexual assualting younger people. And I will add that a lot of the time, it hasn’t even been those who make direct shotacon and lolicon porn, a lot of it is casual sexualization and while obviously liking anime with minors sexualized in it doesn’t automatically make you a real life pedophile, it is still a gateway into normalizing it. If you read enough content that over and over again romanticizes and justifies rape, it will get in your head the idea of romanticized rape even if you think it’s completely separate from your real idea of rape, your brain will unconsciously attach it because they are both the same concept in theory. It’s something that can’t be helped if you consume content like that obsessively. I would know because I am someone who used to be addicted to that kind of content while being an SA victim so it’s very fucking strange to have had the connections in my head, but that doesn’t make my inner romanticization of it okay; it’s just that this sort of content is way too accessible to children. Even now I’m still now struggling to end my emotional dependency on BL but that’s besides the point, all I’m telling you is to recognize what you’re doing and saying. And I don’t really expect it to stop you from reading stuff like this immediately, but I hope you at least keep that in mind.
