i’m at ch.51 and really hoping for some development but i’m not sure there will be. ml is seriously mentally ill and mc is a pushover who can only shout and complain without an actual backbone. god help us all.
finished and as predicted not much of a development. thought i must say i did not know this was supposed to be a black flag going in… the cover had me fooled. but for what it is, it’s bearable.
honestly i didn’t really find how their relationship progressed that appealing, i wish it could’ve been approached differently. especially the fact that ml thought of mc as a dear friend while mc just saw him as just another task to complete, i would’ve tackled how mc in general viewed human relationships and if i was ml, yes i would be sad and worried about mc abandoning me, but i would’ve also been upset by the fact that mc never even saw me as a friend and how easy it was for him to leave me. also mc’s character development felt pretty monotonous to me until the end, and i know that he lets ml kiss him every time because of his complex and past trauma, but it wasn’t really enjoyable to read. i get that maybe ml forced himself on mc because of his situation with his ex and that sort of mirrors it but i don’t know, it sort of undermines ml’s character. maybe it’s my problem but i’m going through a streak of not being able to find my read’s characters enjoyable or interesting.
rereading this but honestly… why is ml kinda annoying. i would be pissed if i invited a friend out to the beach and they went behind my back and invited their friend which i’ve openly shown dislike for. talk about being selfish… “sorry for not telling you he was coming i wanted you to be friends” ??? that’s not how it works and it’s rude.
just forgot about the prank. first of all what an unpleasant prank (fake drowning), also knowing that mc’s injury still affects his ankle?? the love rival is equally as obnoxious, guess they make great friends. maybe i’m too sensitive since it’s late lmao.

just started reading this but must be mentally exhausting to have a best friend like that, one that keeps getting into toxic relationships even after you warn them not to and just shuts you down whenever you criticise their “crushes”. like get a grip f*****
literally did not understand anything at the end but oh well, at least they’re happy
there were some things that felt rushed or could’ve been written better after the ss-dungeon completion but overall i really enjoyed it. hope there will be side stories.
i really liked the story up to when mc regained his memories. i feel like there was no need to utilise rape to show how badly ml treated mc in the past life so that’s why the redemption didn’t really work. still it’s an okay story.
didn’t like it that much, felt like the story wasn’t going anywhere. a bummer
so sad it ended, kinda wish the side stories showed more of mc and ml’s lives after graduating and maybe them living together but it’s fine, i’m happy T.T
