I just finished reading beyond memories thinking it's a more depressing version of this lol.
not the confinement part but the nature of their relationship and regression with ml wanting to make it right

I've heard about that i was gonna read it mind giving me any spoiler?

it has regression plotline where the ml goes back to when he met the uke after the uke kills himself in the original world, he treats him better in the second life but honestly for me nothing justifies him raping uke in first life. its slow paced so you can read it if you're okay with rape and stuff

I mean cozy obsession literally had rape and ml broke uke's ankles as well in 1st tl :")
but since everything was just told in passing without readers actually having to watch his experience it was easier for readers to stomach

cozy obsession has a hint of comedy because of huimin's character but in beyond memories the uke gets nightmares about being raped (and has insomnia because of it ig i barely remember it) so yeah it was pretty hard read for me compared to cozy obsession
