I don't care if he treated Lara badly if she had an issues she could try to talk it out with him, yet she doesn't. They're want to use this as a teaching opportunity for Mikhail to understand and express his feelings but to do that Lara should do the same to. I don't care about other peoples opinions Lara is rude. She may be angelic and likes to get a long with people but her weaknesses is giving up easily and she doesn't know how understand other people or take a step back. Not everybody is going to want form a relationship and that's fine. What I hate the most about the siblings is that they think he is going to take their sister away, he is just a child without anyone and so they wouldn't understand that he just wants someone to play with or a sibling as well. How can lara talk it out with him when he's always cold and avoiding her. You can see that lara tries to be nice to him but he's always cold to her and barely looks at her.
It's said in the earlier chapter she reached out to her multiple times, it's him that rejected her. Besides it's her home why should she be the one to adjust when she already initially started out as friendly and welcoming.
