they actually match each other’s freaks so much that I kind of understand Jiwon—it’s not like they communicated everything to each other before they got together. Jiwon only knew parts of what Jungwoo went through in his past relationships, and he was convinced that Jungwoo found those experiences annoying because of his obsessive exes. Because of that, he just didn’t want to be left by him. I’m really glad they eventually communicated. I’d be lying if I said Jiwon didn’t annoy me—he did—but I get it. I’ve been there, lmao. When you like someone that much, you want to please them, even if it means pretending you’re okay with everything just so you don’t give them the ick. I’m glad I grew out of that, though. If you have this mindset too, just know you’re only going to tire yourself out and end up making yourself feel worse (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
how come, majority of the people hate jaekyung from jinx but loves this russian rapist? I mean both of em have done absolutely nothing right… but if we’re talking vile demon— hm! don’t jump me, im genuinely curious how :)
This is based on my observation. Because I think majority of them know what happened in the novel. Zhenya has the biggest character development in BL history. He's a well written character, and he had done that because of traumatic childhood with no love given and became only an experiment to the Bogdanov family. (although rape is really not necessary to put) (Not justifying rape). Meanwhile Jinx doesn't have a novel so of course people will entirely hate Jaekyung because no one can predict when will Jaekyung is gonna be a green flag (although he is becoming now in recent chapters) so that said, Jinx readers will only rely on the latest chapters while CNA readers can know when he will change because of the novel.
(Sorry if I have bad English, but I hope this explains it. (Not a hater of both though)
It’s prob cuz of the setting and the world. Jinx’s world building is very realistic, relatable to day to day life. So in that setting Jaekyung is a pos rapist asshole. But here, it’s set in mafia spy world. Zhenya’s character is introduced to be cruel, ruthless, psychopathic mafia member, while Taekjoo is a trained spy. So I think it set the expectations right for the viewers, like they prob didn’t expect Zhenya to be a decent human being to begin with so they were less shocked by the SA scenes cuz they were kinda expecting it?
