Not really bad, it just feel like you read shounen novel with a little bromance. Also the politic inside novel deeper than manhwa and it's make you sleepy when read it. But once main story over, side story full of sugar. If you want to read better read from start cause the difference between novel and manhwa about 180 degree at least it not 360 degree.
In novel mc have more charisma than manhwa and behia really powerful at novel unlike manhwa so you will really feel like reading shounen rather bl.

Nope, because manhwa have their own pace and sometimes mixing the event from novel. Also some got deleted so the timeline at manhwa is already a messed. I recommend you read it from start. Even the one where mc got rescued also different from novel. And luhak quote got deleted in manhwa, it's the most notable quote from luhak
