I mean the plot makes no sense. But it wouldn’t work as a BL if it did.
Like the Red Cloak said (and somebody else pointed out in the comments), she most likely meant it in the metaphorical sense. The cure to the hunger is not to kill one of her descendants, but to be loved by one. I think that if they killed a red cloak they most likely will only feel sated for a little while, and then suffer even more intensely since they know what is like to be satisfied.
So she cursed them in the hopes of uniting the wolfs and the red cloaks. Why would a dying woman do that? No clue. I would also prefer to curse them all to hell and as far away from my loved ones as possible. I guess the white cloak was to symbolize that she was a pacifist or a saint LOL
Yeah agreed! Then the story would be of the two, the red clock and wolf, trying to fall in love despite the curse. The wolf is madly in love with Red Clock but the social distancing curse is stoping them from being together... so now they have to find a way to break the curse and pursue their love for each other, yada yada. For this story, she royaly screwed her descendants! Maybe she secretly hated her family and when she was being killed by the wolf she used it as an opportunity to screw over 2 birds with one stone ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
