You don't have to appreciate it but damn this is how well rounded stories are literally made. It's obvious some of y'all are just here to see them f*cking and that's fine but some people like reading about stories
And if the girl and mobster weren't in the story then the two MCs wouldn't have met, there would be no damn story
Plus her backstory is so pitiful. A girl's life is crushed even before it began, her own mother sees her as a burden and way to cut costs through free labor and when she does gets a chance to escape her miserable life, the economy flunks.
You don't have to feel pity, yes she made her choice to take on loan, but you don't have to be so damn impatient and apathetic . When I see so much people hating on women in bl manhwas- it's giving misogynistic women haters who are only here to see two guys f*cking (a fetish if you wanna go there)
Side stories like these are important, maybe not to you but it matters to some and they help build the world of the story and maybe some one can relate, but most importantly it's gives people a perspective of those who fall on hard times

There's a difference between manhwa and pornhwa, and by the looks of it, many readers would do better to choose the latter.
I also don't get how many people bash on women in bl and yaoi stories. And let's be real, majority of the audience for these are women, that's what's even more shocking.
Side characters and antagonists make a story interesting, because without conflict, there's not much tension in a story, and that gets so boring so fast. It's also boring to have villain characters who are evil just for the sake of being evil. The best villains are those who you can't quite hate, who make you feel conflicted in some way. In my opinion. And the author is doing exactly that.
And come on people, it's been not even 2 chapters, it's not like it's 20 chapters. Maybe choose a different one if you're just here for the smut

That aside though character stories/side plots make the story interesting and I'm glad that the author decided not to only focus on the main couple being intimate :)
In fact, I could go as far as to say that I hope the author builds on the main couple's relationship and character development before we get another intimacy scene. It'd be nice to explore the romance outside of them just having sex.

There are tons of bl's where the main characters fuck every two chapters but they choose the one that actually focuses on the story like these two are crucial for the plot even if you dgaf or hate them, it's not weird or uncalled for to get two chapters (out of 21 chapters mind you) about their backstory, not to mention it's supposed tp mirror the mc and ml to so extent
It's about a maid working for a blind man and they develop feelings but holy sheesh it's lowkey boring and dramatic for no reason..... However im a sucker for these tropes unfortunately

I have been searching for a webtoon/manhwa and the genre is romance/shojo. From what I recall, A girl was going to get killed by a heartless Duke but then the spell her. Mother cast protects her and basically makes him fall in love with her causing a whole new personality. So she becomes Lady of his household but it doesn't last forever, sometime he would revert back to his old self and wonder what is happening then back to his new self. I think they catch feelings but still visit a witch to try and reverse the spell
This is all I can remember. It's kind of old but 2020 vibes
