I find myself annoyed when they make it seem like a gay couple can’t have kids. It’s 2026 you can be gay and have a biologically related child. I would understand if the characters didn’t have money where they maybe couldn’t afford it but that is seldom the case.

u're right it's already 2026 and gay people can still get killed by existing. just shows u the world is not as "progressive" as u might have thought it was. maybe in some parts, in your place, but the world is a home to many people.
They are kissing and doing stuff in public so clearly they are not in this group. I can’t remember if this is one where they get married but that happens in a lot of the ones that speak this way. If they want it to be set in a place where it’s not progressive they should keep it consistent throughout. They are filthy rich if they wanted a child he could fly to America which he used to live and his mom does live and get one via ivf and bring that child back with him to Korea where him and his lover could raise it together.
The one guy lived in America and his mom and brother still live in America… he can go ivf himself a kid in America and bring it back to Korea. Sure they could not both be registered as the child’s parent but that doesn’t really matter much because they are still going to be raising the kid together.
???? You must be a child. Even if they did all of that, a HUGE fucking ask which isn't particularly feasible culturally for them, they would still have to raise this child in South Korea, where the legal and social and cultural battles, even things like picking the child up from school, becomes a consistent nightmare for them without the existing infrastructure to support a family like that.
"But that doesn't really matter much" it DOES matter that both parents can be legally the child's parents are you taking the piss???? What if one legal parent of the kid between them dies. You have LOST that child. They are in the system. You're thinking yourself to be reasonable when you haven't thought a shuffle out of your own easy cultural lens, and that why I imagine you must be a child with your lack of wilful comprehension
See those are valid points I wouldn’t complain about. The annoying part I am highlighting is they’re talking as if it is impossible when it isn’t impossible. While I agree that those are valid points that would also be cause not to kiss or doing couple things in public which they do. And if this comment thread is on the story I believe it is they get married which also isn’t allowed in Korea which seems crazy to be nitpicking these aspects remain true to reality but others are erased and act as if they are set in a more progressive place.
I lowkey wish they let Hansol know that when Eunho called to break things off with him it was because of Rak-Hyun.
