Idk why they hate her. Honestly from what i understood,they just drifted apart. She did not bully the fl or anything like that. You cant control rumors. The blond girl and the fl who are both subjects of the rumor just stopped becoming "friends" probably because it was awkward and they did not really talk it out. I dont think she really ditched her friend contrart to what people in the comment section is saying. Although the fl was having a hard time because of the rumors,she did not really communicate her concerns to the said friend,just like how she stopped sending mails to the ml while he was in the military
If I remember right, so FL and blond girl drifted apart due to the rumors. Eventually, blond girl found out the truth BUT she didn't approach or apologize to FL for not trusting her and getting persuaded by the rumors. FL was then left alone and had no one to lean on when she was being harassed by that bastard fucking senior. And now that everybody reunited, she never apologized nor self-reflected what she possibly did wrong to anyone. Blond girl is just going with the flow by being the sort of victim and being pure and innocent. Soooo.... I kinda get the hate.
Not trusting her?? What chapter did it say that she did not trust her and was persuaded by the rumors? For reference you might want to check out chapter 67. Maybe i missed it? Because based on the said chapter, bogum only said that they just drifted apart- theres no narration about what happened after that, which is why im confused about the hate? what exactly did she do wrong for her to apologize or reflect? She's literally a victim of the rumors. Its like realy awkward for them and i believe there was no communication. So correct me if im wrong, maybe I missed that part
That was Bogum's perspective. But the fact that Hyejoo avoided Dawoon means she believed the rumors. And like I said, as far as I know (and I don't want to reread, there's a lot of chapters), the rumors cleared but Hyejoo never approach Dawoon to at least try to reconcile, they didn't have to be friends again but at least acknowledge what happened. Dawoon not only just helped her love life but she got thrown out of the bus by their whole community, yet Hyejoo never stood up for her nor did anything for her.
Not saying Hyejoo was not a victim in that whole affair but it doesn't mean there was nothing for her to account for. Yes, she's shy, it's the exact reason why Dawoon helped her in the first place, but at the least have some gall to be a decent former friend.
She never did anything, at least from what we know from Bogum or Dawoon's perspectives, and that's what she did wrong.
