Also he’s not sleeping with Mc because of his “dead” friend. That has nothing to do with how they began. From the beginning, that wasn’t the point of it. He was just turned on by him and he realized how deeply he wanted him after getting with the kisaengs and he didn’t enjoy the experience as much as he did with the MC.

Except for the fact that he vaguely thought about how the Mc resembled his “dead” friend a little before season 1 ended, we haven’t seen him think of his “dead” friend until way later, when his feelings for the MC deepened and MC showed up with the aromatic oil his “dead” friend used to make. It’s clear they’re falling for each other regardless of outside factors.

Do not be the hypocrite one when mc fuckes emperor. btw When ml was sitting with those whores alongside mc in the previous chapter , he could clearly see how uncomfortable mc was to the though of fucking whores to the point mc ran away from the place. Uh… that’s where you’re wrong. The MC explicitly asked him not to sleep with other people. ML agreed not to and he hasn’t slept with anyone else ever since. If the MC expects that of the ML, then it’s only right for MC to reciprocate that show of respect by not seeing other people. Otherwise we’re swimming in hypocrisy.
