Ngl, the fact that Karlyle chose his fiance over Ash kinda ruined this manhwa for me. Like, Ash didn't even do anything wrong or bad in the first place. He did everything according to the contract, so it isn't like he did something super bad to warrant Lyle just straight up ditching him to marry an omega. Would they have ended up together if Lyle's mom didn't call off the engagement? That decision should have been taken by Lyle, not his mother.
Karlyle has been living to fulfill his duty (which is getting married to an omega from a noble family and produce dominant alpha) since he was born. The duty is always there and whenever he found himself being too deep in love with Ash, he kept reminding himself that the contract he has with Ash is only temporary and will end after 3 months. They aren’t lovers but just sex partners so it’s no wrong for Karlyle to choose his fiancé over Ash as that time, he already ended their contract and even paid Ash too (he offered his studio a potential client). And yes, for Karlyle he has no right to end the engagement himself as he already mentioned in the second chapter that all of what he did, was already decided/ appointed by his family, not him

I think people forget how much the male lead of BJ Alex was shat on for being a fuckboy. People are definitely not as charitable to fuckboy tops as much as people like to establish it as. They are criticized just as much, if not more than fuckboy bottoms, lol.
Anyways, from the raws, it looks like the story is going to take a bit of a time to pick up the pace and there are lots of conflicting translations in the comment section saying different things. I think I will wait until this has a couple more chapters to start reading.
