    malid January 21, 2018 12:17 am

I quite often find the same. I've never read manga at other sites so I think it must be a glitch at mangago.

    Loli Love February 1, 2018 4:51 am

Does none of y'all realize he has schizophrenia?

    Tovah January 10, 2018 1:24 pm

I'd say he has the same symptoms as schizophrenic people do, difference is he can be cured because it's due to PTSD which he isn't even getting therapy for ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    Tovah January 10, 2018 1:24 pm

    Oh no emoticon broken

Yeah. I was always wondering why he doesn't go to therapy.

Remember this is a Korean webtoon meaning that this is set in south korea and based around korean culture to an extenet. Although the suicide rates are up only 1-5% of funds are spent on mental health (like therapy and stuff but don't quote me) and the culture still shames you for getting mental help as well as any future job prospect

That shit is the most fucking absurd shit I've ever heard. So, basically, what you're trying to say is that, people who are mentally ill and get therapy, will also become a burden on their family's reputation? Man, that really sucks and is pretty sad.

PTSD isn't curable, maybe the word you mean is manageable? and even then, that's basis to basis. Therapy and meds don't help eeeeveryone..

Yeah it is sad and not only family reputation but any job you may want in the future and employment rates are getting significantly lower . Alot of things in kdramas and webtoons etc. make more sense once you understand the culture overall

Treatable might be a better word. PTSD is treatable like depression is, and like schizophrenia is not.

Schizophrenia you learn to cope with, PTSD you can learn to overcome (with the correct treatment of course).
If therapy and needs don't help you should either check for other solutions or try to find out if you have a different disorder.

Oh my god, I had no idea. That's awful. I was wondering the whole time reading why he was getting medicated rather than getting mental treatment.

I mean no offence to Koreans but that's such a cold and indifferent viewpoint, that a person who really needs help getting over something is just weak and worthless.

(But then, I'm from the USA where a lot of people nowadays seem to think they need mental help for everything from serious abuse to getting a hangnail. I'm all for mental strength and not being an idiot who thinks they're traumatized and need a "safe space" after someone makes eye contact with them, but when someone goes through a horrible situation like in this comic, then there is nothing shameful about seeking help.)

Even though this story is fiction, it makes me much more sad now that I know REAL people are looked down on for stuff like this.
