Does none of y'all realize he has schizophrenia?
Remember this is a Korean webtoon meaning that this is set in south korea and based around korean culture to an extenet. Although the suicide rates are up only 1-5% of funds are spent on mental health (like therapy and stuff but don't quote me) and the culture still shames you for getting mental help as well as any future job prospect
Treatable might be a better word. PTSD is treatable like depression is, and like schizophrenia is not.
Schizophrenia you learn to cope with, PTSD you can learn to overcome (with the correct treatment of course).
If therapy and needs don't help you should either check for other solutions or try to find out if you have a different disorder.
Oh my god, I had no idea. That's awful. I was wondering the whole time reading why he was getting medicated rather than getting mental treatment.
I mean no offence to Koreans but that's such a cold and indifferent viewpoint, that a person who really needs help getting over something is just weak and worthless.
(But then, I'm from the USA where a lot of people nowadays seem to think they need mental help for everything from serious abuse to getting a hangnail. I'm all for mental strength and not being an idiot who thinks they're traumatized and need a "safe space" after someone makes eye contact with them, but when someone goes through a horrible situation like in this comic, then there is nothing shameful about seeking help.)
Even though this story is fiction, it makes me much more sad now that I know REAL people are looked down on for stuff like this.
What signs was the second couple, I need to know (/TДT)/
