Omg, I had longed for this chapter where the situation flipped lmao. But hell did I expect Dongha to be unconsciously SEXEEHHH HAHAHAHA I can't with all the blood spewing out of their noses (≧∀≦)
Also, I'm a very good boy so can I see it too?? Pretty please? Just for a minute *-*
Also I legit thought the little six year old was Dongha and Juwon's son LIKE WTH THE RESEMBLANCE IS UNCANNY. He has Juwon's complexion and hair and Dongha's beautiful emerald green eyes!!! THEY SHOULD ADOPT HIM OMG
Anyways, if Seonjae will end up rebuilding his relationship with Kanghee then KANGHEE SHOULD BECOME BETTER. Istg Kanghee don't you see how WHIPPED Seonjae is for you?? So stop with your insecurities and GIVE HIM THE LOVE HE DESERVES (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Like most of the unforgettable manhwas I've read, The Devil's Temptation had a beautiful art style, fascinating plot, and overall loveable main characters.
At first, I really thought this would be quite funny and has an overall light atmosphere. But the last chapters took me by surprise. It was a bit confusing since there was little warning that the next panels were showing a flashback. Fortunately, I was able to notice the short hair of our adorable Hen and figured it out. I felt uneasy with the sudden surge of emotions. Like it was all fun and games 'til chapter 90 or so. Nonetheless, I loved every chapter, well, except chapter 88.
I'm sure many would agree that this particular chapter made us feel uneasy if not disgusted. It's just that Hyun and Ivan's relationship was already established and a threesome, in my opinion, went against principles on many levels. I don't mean to offend anyone but I am solely against polygamy of any sorts. Thank goodness it was only for one chapter.
Anyways, apart from this which I consider quite the flaw, everything else was enjoyable. The comedy didn't seem forced and had really made me chuckle and even choke after laughing too much. The intimacy was simply beautiful as Hen and Ivan's chemistry went off the charts. Also, there were many wholesome moments that I'll surely be treasuring.
But, another thing which I believe could have been executed better, the problem with Ivan and Alek's relatives. If I'm not mistaken, it seems that we didn't really see this specific conflict being resolved. Like, what happened to the uncle who gave our MCs such a hard time? And will we ever see our godfather finally forgiven and reunited with Alek and Ivan? I feel like these were deliberately skipped and instead we were given a cliche of a conflict as a rumour spreading like wildfire. I would've loved to see the uncle at least show a hint of remorse for trying to sabotage Alek and hurting our poor Hen in the process. Seriously, not tryna be rude but, why give us family conflict as one of the main plots and then just leave us hanging in the end? I know a lot of us were hella ready to pounce on that damn uncle #-.-)
Welp, that's all I have in my mind after finishing this manhwa. Really, it was beautiful but like many other stories, this one's plot has holes that need plugging. I know the author did their best, and I salute and thank them for giving us a story that certainly made us smile. But I'm still hoping to see side stories which will hopefully try to plug them plot holes.
I'll surely miss our loveable bean Hen and hot, sexy and caring Ivan (▰˘◡˘▰)
My babies Dongha and Juwon finally have their happiness but when will we see Seonjae without them puffy eyes and sad expressions? ╥﹏╥
I agree with some of the opinions saying both Seonjae and Kanghee deserve better though both are at fault with how their relationship ended. They both have issues and had misunderstandings. Nonetheless, I also agree and hope that their comeback won't be forced. I just don't see how they'll ever end up together again unless *all* misunderstanding and issues are solved. They never really showed if they *both* genuinely loved each other. We only saw Seonjae finally getting over Dongha and trying to make up for the times he let Kanghee down. On the other hand, as much as Kanghee tries, he always ends up trying to find someone else to temporarily fill the gaps in his relationship with Seonjae. I'm not an expert in relationships but I do know that it takes mutual trust and understanding to make a faithful couple. That's what they lack, unfortunately. So I do hope that they'll find someone they deserve, or else a comeback might seem forced or unreasonable ┗( T﹏T )┛
Ngl the art is what mostly got me reading until the latest chapter. I think the translations are alright, so thanks so much translators! Also for the fun memes, they really helped brighten my mood ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
On the other hand, I think the plot itself lacks foundation. Like what's actually happening rn lol. It be having some plot holes which is mostly why a lot of them readers are asking if there are any missing chapters. I'd hope the story gets better but for now I'm gonna go enjoy me some funny memes (▰˘◡˘▰)
I honestly don't think Feng's aunt had *deliberately* stolen Yi Yun's embryo. First off, she still hadn't made any contact with Yi Yun whatsoever. Also, she just seems to genuinely want a baby since she could be or her husband might be infertile.
I suppose the problem would be that they won't be as good as parents to Yi Yun's offspring so... MORE DRAMA TO COME ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Actually it showed before her own intentions in a previous chapter. It’s true that she does really want a child of her own since she’s been trying with her husband for so long- which I feel for her. However she did deliberately steal the embryo. She doesn’t know it’s yi yun’s and believed it’s feng’s embryo. Regardless she knows she took someone else’s who wasn’t aware of it, which she wasn’t supposed to do.
