Yeah, I read the prequel but still didn’t quite understand the beginning. There are some events that I got to understand later but I still find it hard to put down on a timeline.
So nobody trusted the mom. Her kingdom got attacked. Her people got hurt. Her daughter ws kidnapped. And a bunch of f-ed up stuff with mana crystals n trade deals n betrayal n smh its all ok. Cus kid trust dad despite the mom being hurt. I love the premise n i think it wouldve been a masterpiece if they fleshed out more stuff instead of "lets all get along! Lets not sddress the fact that my dad hurt the people who loved n cared for me cus he's my dad!"
