ch 9 FULL SPOILER: based off my translation

after minhee asks jehyeon if he has a bf and he says yes, she asks him who his bf is. jehyeon says hes from another school, so minhee wouldn't know him. seungju and taesu are still hiding in the nurses office and eavesdropping on the conversation between m & j. minhee asks jehyeon how long him and this person have been dating and he says since early march. jehyeon and minhee leave the nurses office. soon after, taesu and seungju also leave. seungju asks taesu if he knows about jehyeons mystery lover, and taesu says he heard some girls from another school talking about it. (PS: the translator alternates through girl/boyfriend when referring to jehyeons S/O, so ill just call them "lover", i actually believe they may be a girl, like im 85% sure it was just a mistranslation that they were referred to as a boy.).

continuing on, taesu says apparently the relationship was supposed to be secret. seungju wonders if jehyeon is lying. taesu wonders why seungju thinks jehyeon is lying, stating that hes the opposite of his older brother, who would be public with his relationship. he states that jehyeon was like this in first year. taesu suspects jehyeon and seungju like the same girl, which is why seungju is so concerned and curious about the state of his relationship.

back at home, seungju is having an internal crisis (sorry this is the best way i could describe it lol). he's wondering if jehyeon is lying, if this is a misunderstanding, but what if jehyeon is telling the truth? what if seungju mentions it to him and jehyeon questions how he even found out about this rumored lover?

now at school, jehyeon approaches seungju and asks him to leave together because it the end of the school day. while theyre sitting on the bench seungju is once again thinking to himself. he thinks jehyeon is hard to understand and always has been difficult to know what he's thinking.

finally, seungju says he has something he wants to ask. he asks jehyeon "what is our relationship?". jehyeon asks "what kind of relationship do you want to have?". seungju mentions the kiss, and comes to the conclusion theres no answer/reasoning behind this. he gets up from the bench and says this is pointless. jehyeon puts his hand out to reach for seungju, but pulls back, allowing seungju to go.

after this, they dont talk. seungju says it hurts more than letting go of junhyeok. suddenly, he gets a call from junhyeok. junhyeok asks seungju if theres anyone in his class named dohyun. junhyeok is asking since he has to speak w/this student. seungju says he'll give him the number. suddenly, junhyeok asks seungju if something is wrong. seungju says nothing is wrong, and then asks about jehyeon. junhyeok asks if they got in a fight and seungju says sorta, then junhyeok asks if they talked it out yet. junhyeok then gives seungju advice saying he should talk it out with jehyeon.


junhyeok then asks seungju if he wants to come over, which in turn seungju says yes. (junhyeok invites seungju over to talk things out with jehyeon). seungju promptly thanks junhyeok, then the ch ends

maybe it’s because this author also made bj Alex which was a staple in 2020 but this bl is so reminiscent of the 2019-2021 bl era

we begin the ch with a throwback scene, middle school iltak and his friends are offering gwang-hi a cigarette. they do the usual, make fun of him and mock him. iltak talks gwang-hi through how to use a cigarette, obviously gwang-hi fails and ends up coughing a lot. throughout this i noticed gwang-hi is blushing a lot...anyways the flashback ends and we're back to reality.

the classmates are chatting, until they start mentioning to not mess with iltak because someone did and got beat up pretty badly. they obviously mention gwang-hi, since hes the person who beat up iltaks assaulter.

outside, iltak is on gwang-his lap after he beat up someone. gwang-hi keeps mentioning iltak wanting something (the translation wasnt specifying what exactly iltak wanted lol). we immediately are in the classroom and once again see iltak on gwang-his lap. gwang-hi is pretty aggressively making out with iltak infront of the whole class, like iltak is GASPING FOR AIR...thats how bad it gets

iltak feels like there was something in his mouth when gwang-hi was kissing him and we find out its a tongue piercing ..gwang-hi got a tongue piercing (this fucking FREAK). after some more idle chatting gwang-hi very scarily asks iltak if he doesnt like the kissing. very threatening and scary. iltak starts crying, clingnig onto gwang-hi asking him to stop kissing him infront of their classmates.

after this we see short "clips" of iltak and gwang-hi kissing. the text says "and little by little...hong iltaks school life...was being colored by baek gwang-hi"

in the next scene iltak is laying on his bed. hes thinking about how he misses hyunwoo :(. but then he gets a call from HYUNWOO!!!! YAY!! iltak runs outside in the night...

and he finally gets to give hyunwoo a big hug. iltak jokes about how hyunwoo should start regularly talking to him, because during the period of his absence hyunwoo wasnt keeping in contact with iltak. hyunwoo gives iltak a kiss on the cheek.

we see hyunwoo being sorta vulnerable, saying he missed iltak so much and giving him a hug. iltak hugs him back and its very cute.

they go to the park bench, sit down with their canned coffee. iltak is very happy and chatty. they do some idle chatting, and hyunwoo is absolutely smitten with iltak (guys i love them so much its not ok).

suddenly, hyunwoo says hes been having a really hard time lately. but right after this he says he really likes iltak after all, and that no matter how difficult things get, seeing iltak makes everything else seem smaller. iltak gets super flustered rambling about how hyunwoo was never like this and why hes being all lovey dovey.

iltak grabs hyunwoo by his shirt, pulls him in, and asks if he wants to kiss. then iltak says "no, lets do it!!". not sure if he means just kissing orr other stuff??...guess we'll have to wait for next ch

ch7: jehyeon keeps pestering seungju and eventually follows him to his house. seungjus mom shows up outside and eventually her and jehyeon are in the kitchen cooking together. seungjus mom takes a liking to jeheyon, complimenting his looks at the dinner table. jehyeon takes the opportunity to flex on his brother LOL, he says hes academically better and taller than him. i wonder if its cause hes trying to woo seungju? jehyeon asks to stay over for the night and seungjus mom approves. jehyeons lwk a weirdo sniffing seungju, saying they smell like eachother (jehyeon took a shower). jehyeon sleeps on seungjus bed while seungju sleeps on a mattress on the floor. however, jehyeon insists seungju sleeps on the bed instead. after some persistence, jehyeon fully picks seungju up and puts him on the bed. jehyeon asks seungju if he still likes his brother. chp end

ch8: jehyeon asks seungju WHY he likes his brother. seungju says its because junhyeok is kind, gentle, and handsome (awww). after that seungju says hes given up on pursuing junhyeok because its stupid. jehyeon asks seungju if the kiss made him uncomfortable but seungju doesnt reply. jehyeon asks to kiss seungju AGAIN...seungju asks what the kiss will mean (hes prob wondering if its romantically or just to tease him) and jehyeon says there is no meaning. they end up kissing on seungjus bed. jehyeon begins to remove seungjus shirt but seungju stops him. jehyeon leaves, but still texts seungju asking if hes awake. seungju tries to force himself to not think about the situation but he's still quite hung up on it. seungju wonders if him and jehyeon are dating, but decides they arent because they havent confessed to eachother. seungju finds taesu taking a nap at the nurse. seungju and taesu idly chat for a bit, before seungju mentions seo minhee (the girl taesu was talking to/dating). seungju asks taesu HOW seo minhee confessed to him. IMO, prob trying to get some insight on how to confess to jehyeon. seungju is about to leave until...guess who....minhee and jehyeon walk into the nurses office...minhee asks jehyeon if he has a BOYFRIEND...and jehyeon says yes, then the chp ends!!!!
