Put a Smile On
I'm only at Ch.29 for now...but at this point, I don't understand all the rude comments and low rating.
As of now(may change since I'm not near finished) it's terrible pricks and tragic stories done right.
Nothing original nor revolutionary, and the characters are a bit too 1 dimensional for my taste, but they have 'reasons'.
To be good, a story doesn't have to be filled with rainbows and good people.
No, what it needs is to make sense in its own universe, and be well written.
Again, this is not the most unique story, but, it's a fun read and everything is coherent and interesting enough to keep reading and enjoy it for what it is.
Some people just like messed up stories and damaged people, and there's a right way to work with that.
This, is done 'right'. It is not a bad read.
Nothing impressive, but it does its job as entertainment.
I'll keep reading, and not because of a weird sense of obligation, but because I feel like it.
(My rating is 3,5*, but since this website doesn't have a more complexe rating system and seeing that the rating is unfairly low, I put 4* for now)
Finished thoughts:
The very last chapter was rushed...
we didn't see the time the characters had to process their emotions...and then BAM I lIKe YoUuUu...
I think until the very last chapter, it was a good story.
The ending, even tho way too rushed, was also a logical and satisfying end to nearly everything...except the 2 MCs. It shouldn't have ended on such an happy note. Hopeful, somewhat positive...fine. But not like that.
That last chapter was anticlimatic and underdeveloped, and that's a big shame.
Otherwise, I actually truly enjoyed this comic, and I still disagree with all the negative reviews.
With all the negativity, I thought it would be an awful story...but I had a good time reading it =)
