Or hes like that eldest ivan son that got close to the empress for busniess deal then ended up wanting to stay away from her in the end?

As a novel reader, I'm quite satisfied with this scene. I thought they would change it and won't put the scene where ml cries and realized he fucked up fr. Good thing they sticked to it
Almost finished with the novel, and they're kinda cute and wholesome towards the end
