bye bye Diamond no Ace.
I'm done and tired. I'm dropping this manga.
I better stick with fanfictions instead.
Hopefully when I get a spoiler of Sawamura gets his rightful place or when this manga has ended, I might come back.
But right now, if I continue reading and waiting, idk, the vibe that I get is whether most characters or the plot mostly belittle Sawamura.
So rather than I'm cussing the author and team who has worked hard for this manga. As I know my place as a reader have no power, I better let go.

bored. i hope somebody will be kind enough to let me know (a person who is already bored with all these details that only put Eijun for like a panel) when Eijun is actually out there playing IN the game. pretty please (▰˘◡˘▰)

One Piece has tons of characters who I need to remember, and there were times where Luffy wasn't even in the panel, but I don't know why, but I feel fed up reading Diamond no Ace with these many teams, and sometimes I feel bad for my self why I should feel bad when other manga also more or less doing the same T_T is it because I have not get the justice for Eijun as main character yet? idk.... sobs

I totally get you. And yes, because unlike One Piece, we could totally see the author is totally biased against Eijun. He even said that he wanted to end the series in the first Act and end the manga with Eijun never getting the ace number, and it sucks, because he wanted Furuya to be the act even at the end. We only saw Eijun being in the spotlight when Furuya was doing bad like he was telling us Eijun only got his chance due to Furuya being in a bad shape. Eijun was in the spotlight, but never actually get to have a full-throttle match against Furuya for the jersey. And even after getting the ace number, which we all waited for 500 chapter, Eijun ended up getting a blunder, which clearly doesn’t make any sense because it’s been stated so many times that he does even better when in a pitch or pressure (so WTF sensei?). So, yeah, the author made him the ace but he never actually did showed us like he is. Even now, Eijun is like a cleaner who cleans the mess for the team. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Rereading, and Shoui and Asari are still my favorite story and couple

aww, this chapter broke my heart. yet i'm just so in love with their characters and love, it feels real, true, and genuine. i'm sure their relationship will stand strong because despite all the struggles they had, they always think for what are the best for the other and communicate properly.

To be honest, despite all my frustration for this manga and the author, I don't hate Furuya. I believe that he is a good guy and indeed someone that can brings out the good out of Sawamura, not only Furuya but the others as well. But what I hate is the lack of acknowledgement and screen time for Sawamura as the main characther from the author. And the plot to make Sawamura deserves what a main character should deserve takes too long that people start to despise, bored, desperate, even angry. I don't even know how to rate this manga/anime, it was good but not until the plot goes merry go round and throws away the main figure.

I need someone to help me please... I always know that continuing to read this manga and hope that Eijun will get the time to finally shine brightly is hopeless, yet here I am still opening every new chapter and scroll dowm until the end of the page to see whether the chapter is finally letting my baby sunshine shine as he should be (yet I'm disappointed every time). Can someone help me so that I can really stop this habit of mine? because Eijun might never be the main character for this manga.

I know its tough. I just know that, I may be wrong but Sawamura's journey is right now very similar to Coach Kataoka. So right now I just feel that Sawamura won't be coming out unless you give a strong team for him to face because he has established himself as someone who rises from ashes. Whether it was yips or whether it was getting pulled out, he has always stood up. If we consider his journey, it was like an ace in making journey and he was not given the title,he earned this title . I just felt that their very first match felt like they finally as a whole supported Sawamura and not Sawamura supporting them as usual. Plus I really want him to fight Ichidai and Inashiro, that is Sawamura's right as an ace, so even if he is not here playing right now I'm fine because when he plays these strong team, his threat level as a player increases. Further with Furuya, he had his share, he almost owned the fall koushin so I know he may take lightning here and there but Sawamura will be the one causing the massive thunder and when he shines, he outshines everyone. So, if Sawamura is not giving up then we also can't give up on him.

Thank you for this. I also believe in this theory. For instance, Miyuki finally realized his flaws as Sawamura's catcher (took him long enough but at least is something), and judging for the thoughts of Haruichi and Kuramochi and the words from Zono, they all want to show Sawamura their support and make it easy for him to pitch. So what I think is that sensei is creating and evironment where the team can provide Sawamura the support he needs and deserve, so that way he can shine again even stronger. At least I really hope this is sensei's plan.

Despite everything I want to comment about the story. I just want to say thank you for the translator team. If not because of you all, I would cry for not having updates. If you are all here, read this and feel my gratitude. You are amazing! Thank youuuu(/TДT)/

Well, this is surprising that they put this as completed at vol. 20. In my country up until now, the volume has reached vol. 35. And from what I know, this manga will end at vol. 37. I was actually here hoping I can continue through vol. 36 & 37, but I guess I was wrong ( ̄へ ̄)

That's what I want to know as well...

There are 37 volumes, but the volume count is wrong on this website. According to the wiki, Chapter 369 is the last chapter.

Though I love Haru and Ren, but somehow my interest go to Natsuo, Chisato, and Takamura story ლ(´ڡ`ლ) I want more of their story too if possible :3

don't worry, judging by this mangaka, she will dedicate a lot of time to their supporting characters. Shes amazing at it

FINALLY!! Though the reason behind the Ace number that Sawamura get was not satisfying for me. When Kataoka stated the reason, it was a turn off. The Ace number was like a 'present' as an acknowledgment of Sawamura for helping the team when Furuya was on the slump. It was not a true acknowledgement for how far Sawamura has become or for how he brought the team together or for how his tough and sunshine personalities are needed to empower the team. I am happy, but upset at the same time. I am not waiting for this long, until this very chapter to receive a half assed reason for Sawamura to become the Ace! I'm so confused (⊙…⊙ ) is this manga worth reading anymore? ( ̄へ ̄)

    BL38 October 11, 2018 5:33 am

Hmmm. I agree but it's not like Sawamura is at top of his form (Furuya achieve his top form) proves that Sawamura still have too much to achieve with his numbers, like his future is infinite.
Just imagine how great it will be if he will master few of his numbers and it's not like the numbers has ending there are also forms that they do not consider YET.
Coach has given the grounds for growth to Sawamura and get back Furuya's top form. (Such a greedy coach)

Looking forward for Sawamura to show everyone his growth.
