He actually talked to him this time instead of just making assumptions! This is what everyone has been wanting and the author delivered!!! And now they're finally together! And we still have so much plot to go through that there's no way it'll end soon. We get to see so much fluff between them!!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Didn't Yiyi already pretend to date a guy? I don't think a relationship with FengFeng would be that different.

I'm so happy that his mother showed up. I knew that's what he needed to heal and have a proper and healthy relationship with Byul. I'm sad that the story ended but I'm glad this issue was addressed and taken care of instead of being totally forgotten.

Warning: Really long rant

Hyesung is going through a difficult time and needs time to heal. He hasn't gotten any therapy for all the BS he's been through. It's always been one thing after another in his life. He's not going to be perfect but at least he's trying. Hyesung has been through so much. He should be able to have a breakdown when his father tells him his mother never really loved him in the first place. That shattered the last hope he had of having something good from his childhood. To have one parent love him.

Do I feel bad for Byul? Of course. But it's also in his best interest. It's not good to keep children around negative emotions like that. Hyesung knows that Dojin will take great care of Byul because he trusts him. If he didn't he would probably step up and take care of Byul. But thankfully Dojin is there to help out and creat a more positive atmosphere for their son.

Dojin understands that Hyesung has been through a lot. That's why he's not mad this time. Hyesung didn't run away and abandon them like last time. That speaks a lot to Dojin. It tells him that Hyesung hasn't given up on him or Byul. That he hasn't given up on himself. Which is probably why he is meeting up with Hyesung's mother. He understands that in order for Hyesung to heal and get better he needs to know the truth and get closure. That way Hyesung can properly heal and have a healthy relationship with Byul.

Heesoo understands this as well. That's why he didn't treat Hyesung like he did the time Hyesung ran away after Byul was born. Hyesung has improved as a person and Heesoo can see that. It's partially why he's grown to care for Hyesung so much. Normally when Heesoo challenges Hyesung he'll spring right back to prove him wrong. But that didn't happen this time. This told Heesoo that this situation has damaged Hyesung more than he thought. Seeing someone that he cares about improve only to be torn down broke his heart.

People that have had bad relationships and trauma with their parents tend to unconsciously repeat it with their own children. Just like his mother he ran away when things got too much for him. But unlike her he came back. Just like his father Hyesung was cold and lashed out at Byul. But he realized he was wrong and changed his attitude towards Byul. These are the coping mechanisms he learned from his parents. He never learned how to properly handle his emotions.

Now that he understands that those actions weren't the proper way to handle the situation he doesn't know what to do. He wasn't taught the right way to handle them. So now he's in a depressed state and can't get out of bed.

Those around him should try to get him therapy but therapy is seen as bad or taboo in many cultures. This is probably why no one has suggested it before. I'm hoping that it does get addressed in this story and that Hyesung gets the help that he needs. And couples therapy would be good too seeing as there have been relationship problems between them. Dojin takes action on his jealousy in an unhealthy manner and Hyesung could take Dojin's feelings into consideration more often. They also have trust issues that need to be addressed. Trust is a key factor in a happy and healthy relationship.

Now, I'm not saying that Hyesung is perfect in any way. He definitely has a lot of improvements that he needs to make. Especially for Byul's sake. I just feel that people are being way too critical and ignore all the crap the other characters have pulled. Especially the things Dojin did to Hyesung. But that's a rant for another time.

I think I've ranted on long enough. I hope people have a better understanding of the situation now and hold more sympathy towards Hyesung.

We're getting close to the end. It's always nice to see the end. But at the same time you're ending such an amazing and heartfelt story. It'll be sad to see it go. ;-;

Ms. Kwon saw right through him. And she apologized for asking the victim why he didn't protect himself instead of asking the assaulter why he did what he did. Things like that happen way too often but most don't apologise for doing that. She cares about people so much. I wish she were my big sister.
