What i really liked about this story was the knowledge the author had about lgbt diversity and it's subculture in japan. Bl stories sadly almost never try to educate or use proper terminology, but this story did a pretty decent job at it. I liked how they handled Emoto's feelings, explained really well without being overly dramatic and ignorant about it. Also, i loved how well Chouji/Chouko was portrayed, implying that sometimes they are Chouko, having an embraced femenine side, and also sometimes they feel more like a Chouji alpha male, and they are both part of the same, without making it seem like "big deal" like some other mangas do. Thats who they are and thats it, and i really loved that.
Am i overanalyzing and giving more creadit than its deserves bc the bar is on the floor for yaoi/bl mangas? maybe (▰˘◡˘▰)

I think there was too unnecessary drama??? Don't get me wrong, the story was beautifully narrated and the art was really good, but it was too dramatic and angsty for literally no reason other than to be more dramatic. Like was it really not enough pain for the uke to be raped once, he had to be raped like 3 times?? While being unable to mate with the one you really love and also mate with someone else in a whim?? + Shorten his life for undoing it? I mean... Also the twins stuff was just overkill. This manga is the definition of pick a struggle, not my cup of tea at all, but at the end i still read it for closure, glad they had a happy ending at least
Yeah this manga wasn't my cup of tea either. I like that it's unique but I agree that the drama was very unnecessary.
I know it's harem, actually all the girls are super cute and the mc is super respecful, BUT im still waiting for any crumbs of another male character
Even if its a harem type, its still reallllly good, they dont make it pushy, or overly sexualize the females.
