I REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU FEEL. This story broke my heart. when the husband treated uke very badly, maybe cause he was bored so he had an affair. but when I saw flashbacks of them when they were young I was sick and hurt remembering they loved each other so much!!! and at the end uke always remembered him.. even though there was a new guy that so kind to him, he was still loved his husband till the end. JUST PAIN PAIN PAIN!!!

Idk if this is common, but I'm asian so this was a common thing we say long ago. not nowadays, but people believe that everyone is already given their share of luck in this life. but one can give that luck to other people, but in return they will suffer a great amount of misfortune. but whether it is a misfortune or not, it depends on how each individual perceive it. one will feel like it is a doom. but on rare occasion, one can feel like it is a blessing that they can give their luck to the people they love deeply. it's like they're willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of their love one. when I was little I thought this was romantic. not now tho. it's just tragic ╥﹏╥

Omg wtf I’m literally sobbing HAHAH I had no idea there was a tradition like that, but now that you mention it Im remembering the dumpling scene just imagine your husband cheating on you while you’re dying and he has the audacity to rape you and accuse you of adultery just because you keep leaving the house to get chemotherapy.. and he had to go through everything alone. What I really liked about this story is The way they show how fleeting and unpromising love really is for some people. While the uke was dying all he could remember was the happy memories they had in the past and he just forgave him ☹ The only thing that made me happy about this story is the fact that the uke was loved by someone dearly and taken care of before he died I JUST WANNA STAB THE SEME SO BAD like fck idc if he was in pain in the end, if you love someone you would never do that to them
