Writing a character with mental disorder, apd at that is really tricky. One thing that i just wished was more accurate was that when he was a child if he's already exhibiting antisocial tendencies, he should've been diagnosed with conduct disorder since you can't diagnose a minor with apd.
The story itself, was a uncomfortable read but I can't say if this was a good or bad read. This must be like what my professor said in one of my psych class that how will i able to empathize with a criminal, with someone that has done terrible things. Honestly, I'll be lying if I didn't hate the character coz i did. I hated him but also i understood where it came from. He just goes running around undiagnosed and untreated and now the poor mc has to deal with it. Right now, the plot just looks like a trauma bonding story. But then again, this might not be the story wherein you get to understand or know more about a person who has apd coz this is fictional. But still, not all people will think that way. Im just thinking the implications of authors just picking a disorder in dsm and giving it to their characters without justice and then some readers will have misconception with them. It's bad enough that we still have so much stigma around mental disorders (This is general and not particular to this manhwa alone).
