I freaking love manwhas with this trope that has the ml freaking WHIPPED for the mc because of intereactions they had in the past and then they were separated and when they’re all grown up the ml shows up out of nowhere and is obsessed with the mc while the mc is oblivious that they even met before and so confused why the mls being so nice!!! Bonus points if it has some type of fantasy trope like omegaverse, guideverse etc animal characteristics ,, I’ve read a few already and one that comes to mind is December SO GOOD BUT IF ANYBODY KNOWS ANY I WOULD GIVE YOU MY FIRST BORN SON PLSSS BOMUS POINTS IF ITS FINSIHED AND HAS ATLEAST 50 CHAPTERS(≧∀≦)
A good one is Skip Beat. But that one is shoujo. It also has a revenge plot (not the the ML). Still, it's a really great manga.

I definitely recommend the hunter wants to lay low. The manhwa is ongoing but the novel is complete. Also Heaven Official's Blessing but it's an ongoing manhua with a completed novel. It also has 2 animated seasons.

Dude I’m freaking out I knew that the ml was a little shady but I thought he still really liked the mc… was I reading with my eyes closed cuz eveyones talking about the ml not actually liking the mc correctly, I need spoilers like stat like is he just fooling around because he’s bored or feeling down or is he just interested Ted in the mc and thought why not ???? Let me knowww and I hope there’s a chasing arc when the mc relisezs this??

The story is intended to make you think he is sus which culminates in a past bad thing he did ehich is explained and he does chase for but I promise you he is a good green flag and worth trusting the process. I second everything the other commenter said
Nope it just started with him looking after him as his mom asked. But the feelings he has for him is not related. He genuinely likes him. However ml loved someone else before he saw mc in that way. And when mc was in love with him before his presentation, ml was having his heart broken by someone else. However I think both mc and ml think small lies isn't a bad thing if it makes the other happy or they can avoid talking about their past. Mc don't want to talk about a lot, as you see he holds back in every conversation mostly because he is shy and don't want to ruin it.
ml don't want to talk about his mom being the reason he was watching over him or that he did not see him as a love interest back then.
